About the Role

Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments. Administer SAN/NAS storage, RAID, snapshots, replication, and capacity planning. Configure and maintain VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and vSAN. Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtualization and storage infrastructure. Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
  • Administer SAN/NAS storage, RAID, snapshots, replication, and capacity planning.
  • Configure and maintain VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and vSAN.
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtualization and storage infrastructure.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in VMware virtualization and enterprise storage.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, and vSAN.
  • Experience with enterprise storage solutions (Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, IBM, Hitachi, Huawei, etc.).
  • Good understanding of SAN/NAS technologies (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS).
  • Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, or Rubrik.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • PowerShell/PowerCLI scripting and Hyper-V administration will be an added advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
